This milestone marks a major step forward for the project.
We’ve already built and played extensively with working prototypes—logging real gameplay hours and refining how the controller feels in the hand. Now, with 20 new PCB sets on the way, we’re leveling up from single builds to something much bigger.
These boards let us take the same proven electronics and install them into multiple controller shell designs, opening the door to proper size testing for small, medium, and large hands, with early exploration into a child-sized controller as well.

What comes next is where things get exciting.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be assembling multiple controller variants, stress-testing comfort and ergonomics, and recording real game demos to show exactly how the controller performs in action. This phase is all about dialing in fit, feel, and playability—so that when we launch on Kickstarter, backers know exactly what they’re supporting.

The hardware is real. The games are being played. And the next updates will show how this controller adapts to different hands, different players, and different ways to play.
If you want to see the size variants, gameplay demos, and be notified the moment our Kickstarter goes live, sign up to our mailing list at the bottom of the page.
Very early physical mock-up model used to evaluate ergonomic impact dynamics.
I talk a little bit about the controller while playing a FPS.
Playing a top down RPG Solo Co-Op.
Two demos and size customization.
Got the semi-auto Aim working on the right gun, and changed how the left gun shoots.
Here you can see how the extra XY input provides a user with new aiming opportunities.
These games do not have refined controls and are mainly to show the proof of concept for new games that can be made.
Preparing a Kickstarter Project to Fund Production
The Ergonomic Game Controller I developed integrates the functions of a two-hand controller into a one handed controller which is held and managed single-handedly.
The range of commands available while using both a Left Hand and Right Hand controller exceeds the capacity of
current Video Game Design.
See the More Details page for technical information.
I contracted the Design and Manufacturing company Waterloo Technical Instruments Inc. to transcribe my polygonal designs into manufacturing production ready CAD files. Now that I have received their version I am contacting manufacturers for prices and am readying to get prototypes made.
Catch my stream on TWITCH demonstrating how the Controllers work in action using my Proof-of-Concept prototypes under the user name
CaliNaKai.
Or watch some game development using ChatGPT Ai to program new games when dual wielding the controller.
Meanwhile I will pursue Manufacturing bids to set Kickstarter Funding Goals to launch initial Production.
I stream on TWITCH under the user name
CaliNaKai
where I use one of my Controllers in one hand to play
BoltGun, New World, or DeathWing
AND
I also show Baldur's Gate 3 and Inquisition Prophecy, Solo-Co-Op
using two controllers to play two games at once.
